This is very true, certainly can&#039;t complain about the free OpenOffice :) As for Lotus comparison...nice idea but last time I looked they didn&#039;t have a trial to download, otherwise i&#039;d be happy to!

I think originally it was developed for those who run Linux as an Operating System as opposed to a Micro$oft product. Linux already has an outlook answer on it, called Kmail which is an awesome product, it even tells you if you&#039;ve not attached a file when you mention having done so in the main body of the email.

I&#039;ve never had to use publisher, so that&#039;s not a problem for me.

I think for a completely free bit of software, one cannot complain that it doesn&#039;t FULLY compare to M$ Office. 

Also, how about Lotus Smart Suite for a further comparison?

Just my thoughts :)
